Test probes, also known in the industry as “probes,” are used for PCB testing and are categorized into spring probes (specialized probes) and universal probes. Spring probes require the fabrication of a custom test fixture tailored to the wiring layout of the specific PCB being tested; typically, a single fixture can only accommodate one type of PCB. In contrast, universal probes only need to provide sufficient contact points, which is why many manufacturers now prefer them. Depending on their application, spring probes are further divided into PCB probes, ICT probes, and BGA probes: PCB probes are primarily used for PCB testing; ICT probes are mainly employed for in-circuit testing after component insertion; and BGA probes are specifically designed for BGA‑related applications.

Test probes, also known as probe tips, are used for PCB testing and come in two types: spring-loaded probes and standard probes.

Test probes are designed for the precision testing industry; when performing precision tests on PCBs, connectors, FFCs, chips, probe cards, and other components, they provide test probes suitable for tight pitch applications.

The test probe is suitable for a wide range of testing environments and fixture designs. Its integrated construction ensures stable resistance values and long service life.

Huarong was founded in 1988. Over the past three decades, through both challenges and successes, it has steadily grown into a specialized company dedicated to the development, manufacturing, and sales of current‑voltage probes, high‑current probes, test probes, high‑frequency probes, and wire‑harness probes. We continuously recruit and cultivate technical talent, while introducing advanced production equipment and technologies from Europe and Japan.

At our production base located in Cixi City, Zhejiang Province, we currently employ over 150 staff members, including more than 20 technical specialists—among whom are six engineers. The facility is also equipped with over 80 Japanese CNC automatic lathes and more than 60 Japanese CAM‑controlled automatic lathes. To ensure superior quality, we have independently established high‑quality heat‑treatment, electroplating, and assembly lines, supported by advanced testing equipment such as the German Fischer X‑ray thickness gauge, Japanese hardness testers, and projectors.
